Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 20 February 2026 · Last Updated: 20 February 2026

1. Course Fee Payment

Once a student makes payment for a course, the seat for the selected course and batch may be reserved accordingly.

Before making payment, students are advised to carefully review the course level, duration, fee, class mode (Online/Offline), batch schedule, and other relevant course details.

2. Cancellation Before Course Commencement

If a student requests cancellation before the selected batch commences, Edexo may consider the refund request on a case-by-case basis.

Where a refund is approved, applicable administrative, registration, payment gateway, processing, or other non-recoverable charges may be deducted, where permitted by applicable law.

The cost of study materials or books already provided or dispatched may also be deducted.

3. Cancellation After Course Commencement

Once the course has commenced, refund requests will generally not be accepted because the student's seat, faculty, classroom/online resources, and other learning arrangements have already been allocated.

However, genuine and exceptional circumstances may be reviewed by the management on a case-by-case basis.

4. Non-Attendance

Non-attendance does not automatically make a student eligible for a refund.

Refunds will generally not be provided due to:

  • Personal commitments
  • Change in work schedule
  • Travel
  • Relocation
  • Failure to attend classes
  • Change of personal plans
  • Failure to attend Online or Offline classes

Students are responsible for attending their scheduled classes.

5. Batch Transfer

A student who is unable to continue with the selected batch may request a transfer to another available batch.

Batch transfer is subject to availability of seats, course level, batch schedule, management approval, and any applicable transfer charges.

A batch transfer does not automatically entitle the student to a monetary refund.

6. Online & Offline Batch Transfer

Requests to transfer from an Online batch to an Offline batch, or from an Offline batch to an Online batch, may be considered subject to availability and management approval.

If there is a difference in the applicable course fee, the student will be required to pay the additional amount before the transfer is confirmed.

7. Books & Study Materials

Where books or study materials have already been provided, dispatched, or specially procured for a student, their applicable cost may be deducted from any approved refund.

Used, damaged, marked, or substantially altered study materials may not be eligible for return.

8. Promotional & Discounted Courses

Courses purchased under special offers, promotional campaigns, scholarships, combo offers, or discounted pricing may be subject to specific terms and conditions.

Any approved refund for such courses will be calculated according to the applicable terms of the relevant offer.

9. Payment Gateway & Transaction Charges

Where a refund is approved, applicable payment gateway, transaction, processing, registration, or other non-recoverable charges may be deducted from the refundable amount, where permitted by applicable law.

10. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Edexo

In certain circumstances, Edexo may postpone, reschedule, merge, or cancel a batch due to operational requirements, faculty availability, insufficient enrolment, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

Where appropriate, Edexo may offer one or more of the following options:

  • Transfer to another suitable batch
  • Rescheduling of the course
  • Online/Offline alternative, where available
  • Adjustment towards another eligible course
  • Refund of the applicable unused course fee, where appropriate

11. Faculty or Schedule Changes

Edexo may make reasonable changes to faculty members, classroom arrangements, batch timings, or learning modes when necessary.

Such changes will not automatically qualify for a refund where Edexo provides a reasonable alternative or substantially similar learning arrangement.

12. Exceptional Circumstances

Refund requests arising from serious and genuine circumstances may be reviewed individually by the management.

The decision may take into consideration the circumstances, supporting documents, course progress, and services already provided.

13. Refund Request Process

A refund request must be submitted through Edexo's official communication channels.

The request should include:

  • Student's full name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Email address
  • Course and batch details
  • Payment date
  • Payment/transaction reference
  • Reason for the refund request

Edexo may request additional information or supporting documents where necessary.

14. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, the eligible amount will normally be processed within 7–15 working days.

The actual time for receiving the refund may vary depending on the bank or payment gateway.

Refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method or another method permitted by Edexo.

15. Taxes & Statutory Charges

Any refund will be processed subject to applicable GST, taxes, statutory requirements, and accounting regulations.

Where applicable, tax adjustments may be made in accordance with prevailing regulations.

16. Examination Preparation Disclaimer

Edexo's examination preparation and training services are independent of the respective examination authorities.

Examination registration, examination fees, examination dates, cancellation, rescheduling, and certification are governed by the rules and policies of the respective examination authority.

17. Fraudulent or Misleading Information

Edexo reserves the right to review refund requests where there is evidence of fraudulent transactions, misuse of services, false information, chargeback abuse, or other inappropriate activity.

Appropriate action may be taken in accordance with applicable law.

18. Student & Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies available to students or consumers under applicable laws and regulations.

Where any provision of this policy conflicts with applicable law, the applicable law will prevail.
